What it's about:
We knew from the last episode of the anime that Maka is a weapon. Shinigama-sama wants her to go to a special training in Europe (for a week or too). It's a hard decision for Soul, but he let's her go. While Maka is gone strange things go on in Schibusen. Souls friends don't have time anymore to talk to him, Chrona and Dr. Stein leave the school and worst of all, Maka wants to stay a whole year in Europe for training! In Souls depression madness creeps in him again ...
But nobody even suspects that somebody is pulling the threads in the background... Somebody very powerfull...
